Installation of this equipment by your Factory Authorized Lance Dealer is highly recommended to ensure the most enjoyable ride possible – and to improve the drivability and handling of your entire vehicle and trailer package.
Hitch Ball
All models except Lance 1575. You will need a 2-5/16" hitch ball rated at 6000 lbs or more.
Lance 1575 you will need a 2" hitch ball rated at 5000 lbs.
Ball mount
You will need a ball mount that will raise/lower the hitch ball to 21 inches (18" inches on Lance 1575) from the ground.
Trailer Hitch
Your trailer hitch that mounts to your vehicle must be rated for 6,000 lbs or more. (5,000 lbs for 1575)
Weight Distributing/Equalizer Bars
Some trailer hitches require weight distributing/equalizer bars to increase the weight rating to 6,000 lbs or more.
Batteries
All Lance trailers are capable of carrying one or two deep cycle batteries up to a group 27.
